We study the work around the meeting.
Meeting Workflow Lab is an independent reference site for team leads, project coordinators, operations staff, and anyone responsible for turning group time into clear decisions and follow-through.
Why this site exists
Calendar advice is often framed as a preference: fewer meetings, shorter meetings, or more asynchronous work. Real teams need a more useful question—what format gives this work the best chance of succeeding at a reasonable cost?
We build small, transparent tools to make that question concrete. Our guides explain how the tools work, where the estimates stop, and how to preserve coordination when a meeting changes.
What we publish
- Calculators that show their formulas and keep inputs in the browser
- Decision frameworks for selecting synchronous or asynchronous work
- Templates for agendas, decision records, and action-item follow-through
- Worked examples that make assumptions and arithmetic visible
Who creates the content
The site is produced by the Meeting Workflow Lab Editorial Team. We synthesize publicly available research, official documentation, and operational methods, then create our own calculators, examples, and decision aids. We do not invent personal experience or imply that an illustrative scenario happened at a real company.
Our editorial standards, source practices, and correction process are described in the editorial policy and methodology.
